Uniquely designed for private fuel dispensing applications, the 1820 is engineered to make your job easier. The 1820 is the only compact electric pump equipped with a unique interlock register, which prevents use of the pump without first resetting the register to zero.

The 1820 pump, driven by a powerful 1/3 HP motor, fuels gasoline, diesel, kerosene and up to 15% methanol or ethanol blends. The Model 1820 features a pump that is separate from the motor assembly. This design prevents the possibility of product leaking into the motor due to worn pump seals.

Each time the nozzle opens, the pump bypass valve slams shut. While competitive models use an inexpensive plastic bypass valve, the 1820 features a heavy-duty, stainless steel bypass valve to provide trouble-free operation.

STANDARD FEATURES

Exclusive interlock register resets the register to zero when pump is turned on.  

Pump and motor are separate units to increase reliability and make servicing easier. Motor is equipped with an auxiliary AC line to control a solenoid valve in remote mount installations or for switch detect for card or key systems (1820RC only).  

Exclusive install-a-socket eliminates the need to install the pump with a suction pipe attached.

Heavy-duty 23 PSI (1.6 bars) stainless steel bypass valve features a brass sleeve for smooth travel and reliable operation.

Internal nozzle boot protects the nozzle spout from rain.

Vacuum breaker located in the discharge casting to prevent accidental siphoning when the nozzle is open and lower than the product level.

• Vapor recovery (V) models include a nozzle boot to accommodate a vapor recovery nozzle. Supplied less hose, nozzle and splitter.

REGISTER

3-wheel volume-only register. Lever type reset with interlock. Includes 6-digit master totalizer. Optional: 4-wheel register with push-button reset (interlock not available) available on the 1820R.  

METER  

Nutating disc phenolic measuring chamber in aluminum die cast housing. Adjustable calibration +/- .5% at full flow.

PUMPING UNIT  

Self-priming, direct drive rotary vane. 23 PSI (1.6 bars) stainless steel bypass. Check valve with pressure relief valve.  

STRAINER  

100 mesh nylon.

MOTOR AND POWER REQUIREMENTS

Explosion proof, 1/3 HP, 1725 RPM, 115 VAC, 60 Hz motor with thermal overload protection and auxiliary AC line. Optional: 230 VAC, 50 Hz.  

CABINET FINISH

High-gloss urethane, painted red or specify color.

HOSE AND NOZZLE

12' (3.66 m) hose with integral static discharge wire. Manual self-closing nozzle.

CONNECTIONS  

2 " (5.08 cm) NPT for tank opening. Suction: 1" (2.54 cm) NPT.  

Discharge outlet: 3/4" (1.91 cm) NPT.
